Hemp rope wraps the base and adds a rustic note that plain clear glass never gets, and hand-made work ties the rope off and sets the cup steady underneath.
Color stays clear so the flame still shows through, and the open cup takes a standard candle. Line a few along a mantel for a warm even row of light, and note that the rope wrap also gives a sure grip when the piece is moved.
