Sea Silk Road works as an OEM and ODM partner for promotional gift and merchandise programmes. Whether you want your logo on a product we already make, or a product built from your own sketch, the same team handles design, tooling, production, quality control and shipping — you are not handed between departments.
OEM — your logo on our products
- Logo printing on any product in our range, with a minimum order of 100 pcs.
- Above a product-dependent quantity, the printing tooling cost is free of charge.
- Custom packaging is available for orders of 5,000 pcs and above. Silk-screen printing of a logo or company name on packaging starts at 500 units per logo, or depends on the product range.
- Usually the whole OEM process takes 10 days or less.
- Send artwork by email: JPEG, TIFF or AI for printing on products; AI, EPS, TIFF or CorelDraw (300 dpi) for packaging.
ODM — a product developed for you
For special promotional gifts or custom-designed merchandisers, an ODM project usually takes about 3 months. The budget largely depends on the sophistication of your design. For volume orders we are willing to cover part of the cost of creating a new mould.
How an ODM project runs
- Enquiry.
- We provide similar products and submit an initial design.
- You make your comments.
- We submit the final design programme, with a technical drawing and 3D model for your confirmation. A hand-made sample can be provided when necessary.
- Mould making, with an initial article sample for your confirmation.
- Production.
- Quality control.
- Shipment.
Samples, shipping and payment
- Samples are free when in stock and under US$ 5; you cover the courier freight or use your own DHL/UPS account. More on free samples.
- Shipping — under 20 kg by courier, 20–500 kg by air, larger volumes by ocean container. We can arrange sea, air and courier transport for you.
- Payment — T/T, Western Union, L/C and all major credit cards / Paypal. Full payment terms.
